IMTA alum Katie Holmes is starring in a new comedy called Jack and Jill opening nationwide today! The film also stars Adam Sandler! Adam plays twins and Katie plays the wife of the male twin. According to IMDB: "Jack Sadelstein (Adam Sandler) is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife (Katie Holmes) and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill (also Adam Sandler). Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down."
Katie competed at IMTA in 1993 and 1995! Her extraordinary talent, poise and beauty have won her starring roles in movies such as The Romantics, with IMTA alums Elijah Wood,'89 and Josh Duhamel, '97, Pieces of April, Batman Begins, The Extra Man, The Gift and The Son of No One which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. She is currently on the cover of the November issue of Marie Claire Magazine!
