Jerry Ferrara in the Season Finale of Entourage!

The finale of the fourth season of Entourage titled Cannes Do starring IMTA alum Jerry Ferrara will air on HBO September 2. This outstanding and exciting show has garnered 7 Emmy nominations. Jerry plays the character of Turtle who is one of the main players in this witty portrayal of life in Hollywood and the television and film industry.

Jerry competed at IMTA where he met and signed with an agent who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles. He landed his first acting role on the comedy King Of Queens. Jerry was then cast in the independent feature Cross Bronx which premiered at the 2004 Tribeca Film Festival. He has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series from the Screen Actors Guild and TV -Chemistry from the Teen Choice Awards. Brittany Curran in 13 Going 30 Friday on Fox!

Tune into Fox Friday night to see Brittany Curran in an encore presentation of 13 Going on 30. This fun-filled movie is about a young girl who after being embarrassed at her 13th birthday wishes she could hide until she is 30 and her wish comes true. Brittany stars as one of the Six Chicks in this hilarious movie. She will also be guest-starring on tonight's episode of the hit Disney series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Brittany competed at IMTA and signed with Diane Hardin and Judy Savage. She has had several guest spots on such popular television shows as Shark, The Young and the Restless, Drake and Josh, Power Rangers and Mad TV. Her movie roles include Akeelah and the Bee which also stars another IMTA alum Sara Niemietz . Brittany has also been in various print ads including KFC, Kraft Post Cereal, AT & T, Suave and Chevy. She is currently filming the comedy Diamond Dog Caper and just wrapped The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Even Think About it, Zip, The Uninvited, and The Adventures of Food Boy. Adrianne Palicki in Friday Night Lights out on DVD!

The first season of NBC's hit series Friday Night Lights starring IMTA alum Adrianne Paliciki is now available on DVD! This amazing new show has earned two Emmy nominations and Entertainment Weekly raved about the show in this week's issue: " the fantastic football dramas 1st season will win cheers from diehards and new fans alike". Adrianne stars as Tyra Colette in this show about a small town in Texas, where only one night matters: Friday Night. The story revolves around how important it is that the town's high school football team wins, the conflicts that arise, and the excitement it creates.

Adrianne competed at IMTA in New York City in 2003. She was signed by an agent and went on to work in both film and television. Her first feature-film was starring as Judy Robinson in film Lost in Space, and she had a supporting role in the Rob Reiner film Rumor Has It. Her television credits include guest appearances on Smallville, CSI, North Shore and Supernatural. Adrianne is well known for her portrayal of the sassy "Brianna" on the television drama South Beach. AOL names Eva and Josh Sexiest Primetime TV Stars!


Eva Longoria and Josh Duhamel were named two of Sexiest Primetime TV Stars! AOL named the ten sexiest primetime stars and these two IMTA alumni made the list! Eva stars on the hit TV show Desperate Housewives and Josh is on the top-rated drama Las Vegas. Josh was also popular in the box office this season with the hit film Transformers.



Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 where her amazing talent captured the eye of many agents and she recieved 52 callbacks. She first was cast on The Young and the Restless, and has been blowing up ever since. She is the new face and spokesperson of L'Oreal and BeBe Sport, and is filming PSAs to increase awareness on ovarian cancer. Josh dazzled the judges with his talent as well and won Male Model of the Year IMTA 1997! After IMTA, he soon began acting on All My Children and crosses over from the hit series Las Vegas to the big screen!

Catch Moises Arias in Closing of the Disney Channel Games!

Don't miss IMTA alum and Disney Red team member Moise Arias this Sunday August 25th for the Disney Channel game closing. All summer long stars of popular Disney Channel Television shows have been competing on one of two teams, the Red or the Blue. Moises who plays smart alec Rico on the smash hit Hannah Montana has been competing his hardest for the Red team. Some of games we have seen him compete in include the dunk tank, rock, paper, scissors showdown and on and the obstacle course.

Moises competed at IMTA in 2005 and started working immediately. In just two years, he has appeared in the motion pictures Nacho Libre. He guest starred on television on Everybody Hates Chris, Everybody loves Raymond, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He is currently filming the part of Mario in The Perfect Game based on a true story about a group of poor children in Mexico who win 13 games in a row and the Little League World Series. Be sure to tune in Sunday and see who the big winners are!

Jessica Biel to host a benefit for the Make a Difference Network!

The very busy and beautiful Jessica Biel is hosting a benefit with The Ivy Hotel and the Make a Difference Network. This will take place August 24 through 26 and Joss Stone will be performing. Proceeds from this benefit will be donated to national and local nonprofit programs, including the Hollywood Entertainment Museum’s at-risk youth educational program. The Make a Difference Network is a social network of businesses, celebrities and people who work together to raise money for deserving non-profits.

Jessica competed at IMTA in 1994 where she signed with an agent and manager who helped her land the breakthrough role of Mary Camden on the popular WB series 7th Heaven. She has gone on to star in many major motion pictures such as The Illusionist, Stealth, Elizabethtown, Home of the Brave, Next, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. She recently wrapped the comedy film A Women of No Importance. This film is about a woman who has a secret, an illegitimate child. Things become sticky when her son tries to get a job from his father a secret neither of them knows. Th film is based on on a play by the famous writer Oscar Wilde. She is currently working on the movie Powder Blue about four people from very different backgrounds who find themselves thrown together.

Jordann Beal on One Life to Live

Jordann Beal is currently starring in a recurring role as Aimee on the popular soap opera One Life to Live. Jordann competed at IMTA in Los Angeles January 2007 and moved to New York City just one month after. She has been featured in an ad campaign in Seventeen Magazine and was on the cover a James Patterson's book Maximum Ride. Jordann was an awards presenter at our IMTA convention which just wrapped in July. At the convention Jordann stated that things would not have "moved so fast without IMTA. It would not have happened and the doors would not have been opened to me like they did so thankfully I came to IMTA. It is the best thing I've done for me in my life and I am so happy and so blessed".

Elijah Wood on Nickelodeon's New Show Yo Gabba Gabba!

IMTA alum and superstar Elijah Wood is guest starring on the premiere of Nickelodeon's new funky preschool show called Yo Gabba Gabba. This show is an exciting action packed program for young children featuring a group of furry toy animals and monsters in a make believe land where the play, dance, and learn about life.

Elijah got his start at IMTA in 1989 when he was signed by agent Al Onorato, moved from Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Los Angeles and booked his first role in Paula Abdul's memorable video Straight Up. His enormous film career includes such wonderful feature films as Happy Feet, Bobby, Everything is Illuminated, Sin City, Spy Kids 3 Game Over, Day Zero, and the Academy Award-winning trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Elijah has starred in over 40 feature films in his career and is one of young Hollywood's (and IMTA's!) most-loved actors. Elijah just wrapped the thriller The Oxford Murders which features him as a grad student at Oxford University who works with his professor to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols. Currently he is doing a voice over for an animated action adventure film called 9, a post-apocalyptic nightmare in which all of humanity is threatened.
