IMTA alum Eva Longoria is at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival! She is getting raves for her red carpet style.
Ace Showbiz said, "it was Eva Longoria who stole the most attention when a screening event was held during the opening ceremony of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The Latin star looked stunning in a pale-pink mermaid-style gown.
Longoria graced the red carpet in a Marchesa embroidered gown that fitted down to the knee and flared into a long feathered train. The "Desperate Housewives" star completed her dazzling look by putting her hair in an up-do and carrying a matching clutch. "
Eva first showed her star power at the 1998 IMTA Convention! She had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva told
Pageantry Magazine , “It was intense. So much competition. It just feels great. You kind of thrive on it and so does everybody else.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and
The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake of
LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in
Carlita’s Secret, and also starred in the films
Harsh Times, and
The Sentinel. Eva's breakthrough role was as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives which recently wrapped up its eighth and final season on ABC.
