Hottie Friday: Catherine Zeta-Jones

(Do click to enlarge this or any other image - but do so only if you can handle all that goodness)

Fairest most gorgeous Zeta-Jones

What I wouldn't give to jump your lovely bones

Your eyes are filled with so much passion

I'll court you and treat you in the most endearing and deserving fashion

Catherine so beautiful, Catherine so fair

Whenever you're around

There's nothing but love in the air

Alas, I can't help it and I feel absolutely no shame

My knees grow weak, at the mere mention of your name

Your eyes; they reflect the fire

That burns from the depth of your soul

If ever they looked at just me alone

I'd be all yours to have and to hold

And there's no denying that fiestiness you possess

It's evident in the way you tackle all of your roles with such zest

The flawlessness of your hair... your face

Yet, you don't let it get to you; cause you to fall from grace

The perfectness of your cheeks, lips and nose

If I admire them for too long
Then it's sigh, swoon, racing heartbeat
Ah yes, the next step - definitely comatose

The Pointer Sisters said it best
The words make me want to cuddle you to my chest
You fill my every being with such desire
The thought of kissing you ... Oooh Fire!

Any list of the finest and sexiest is incomplete
If your name does not appear at the top of the sheet
No one else could possess such a combination
Of sultry timeless beauty, you're the greatest sensation!

The Legend of Zorro; my absolute favorite of all time
But then again, you went above and beyond in Chicago
So it's not that easy to make up my mind
Ocean's Twelve - nice; Intolerable Cruelty
That movie I could not just one time see

Then you were paired with Sean Connery in Entrapment
That combination was pure delightful enjoyment
You were awesome in Catherine The Great, this I know
So many great movies; and in everyone you stole the show

Looking forward to Stompanato (2008)
And Rachel's Holiday (2008)
In one a murderer and the other
A drug addict you're scheduled to play

Swoon anyone?

Natasha's Got A Pocketful Of Sunshine

How do I begin to write about Natasha Bedingfield? How do I do her justice? How do I put into words what's going around in my head? This is definite proof of my instability; but you have to admit that I put that out there right at the getgo so don't hold it against me.

I could start by mentioning that she's British (ooh there goes that nice tingly feeling). Being British in my world means awesome, rock hard, gorgeous.. you get the picture right? So if I ever mention British in any ensuing blog, don't take it lightly. Now where was I? She'll be 27 November of this year, she started out singing gospel with her brother and sister. To date, she's released 3 albums; the most recent of which was released Tuesday of this week (22 Jan 08). Her first album Unwritten was released in 2004. She followed up with N.B. last year and now Pocketful of Sunshine.

Pocketful of Sunshine is definitely Bedingfield's best album yet! Of course this is my humble (or twisted) opinion. Though humble, it should not be taken lightly since I'm a music fanatic and am convinced that I have impeccable taste in music. In a world where it has become rare for one to purchase an album, pop it into the CD deck then press play and forget it - Bedingfield's new album definitely breaks that trend. There isn't a song on this album that you'll want to skip over. The CD contains 13 tracks of which my favorite are: 1) Put Your Arms Around Me, 4) Love Like this (both have a reggae beat/feel/style to them) and 8) Angel.

This album takes you on a journey of rock out tunes (the first two tracks will have you bopping your head and tapping your feet), reggae style, ballad & R&B. One thing's for sure, her voice is as strong as ever throughout the entire album.

If any of this appeals to you, then go out and get the album; it will be worth it!

Oh.... one more thing... she's not hard on the eyes either...lol

Eva Longoria on the Cover of Self Magazine

IMTA alum Eva Longoria is the cover model for the February issue of Self Magazine. She looks absolutely stunning! The article discusses her healthy eating and exercise habits and how she got started in the business. It states,"By eighteen, Longoria Parker had won her first competition, and five years later, she was named Miss Corpus Christi USA. Her title earned her a trip to L.A. to compete in a modeling and talent competition [IMTA]. Eva says,"I was about to start grad school for a master's degree in exercise science but I called my mom from L.A. and asked her to send my stuff to Hollywood, rather than to school. She was like,"What?" And I said,"I'm going to be an actress."

Eva competed at IMTA in 1998 and had 38 agencies and managers interested in representing her! She signed with a manager she had met at the convention. Eva recently told Pageantry Magazine that “The first day they signed me I had four auditions...It was pretty fast.” She quickly moved to Los Angeles and landed guest-starring roles on Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. In 2003, she took a role as a detective in a TV remake LA Dragnet and made her big-screen film debut in Carlita’s Secret, and starred in the films Harsh Times, and The Sentinel. Eva has her own charity Eva's Heros which helps disabled children and adults with the various challenges they face. She puts her star power to work in the PSA's and other cancer awareness and education programs.

Eva's breakthrough role is as the beautiful Gabrielle Solis on the award-winning Desperate Housewives on ABC (now in its fourth season). Eva just shot her newest campaign for Bebe's sportswear where she serves as their spokesperson. Pick up the February of Self magazine now and look for Eva in her new Bebe ads!

Hottie Friday - Kristen Scott Thomas

How do I love thee?

Let me count the ways

I love thee while I’m asleep

I Love thee while I’m awake

Heck I love thee even in an unconscious state

I love thee in pants

I love thee in dresses

Whatever you’re wearing

To me, is always impressive

And just when I thought I couldn’t love thee more
You appear on Top Gear (that British car show)
And a race car did steer
Around the track at high speed
Swoon-inducing – that was indeed!

If ever they made you up to look old
All the ugly makeup in the world,
Could never tear my admiration for you,
Out of my soul

I love thee in Four Weddings And A Funeral
Love thee in Bitter Moon
Especially love thee in The Horse Whisperer
Random Hearts – the movie was over too soon

If ever you need an English Patient
Please, let it be me
So overwhelming is your effect on me
A patient I’ll be, for I’m sure to faint you see

You’re brilliant, stunning, talented as well
Intelligent, savvy and smart – damn that’s oh so swell
Sexy, dashing, daring
The total package - I think you’re as hot as hell

I’m so looking forward to Bronte (2008)
Easy Virtue (2009) too
Largo Winch (2008) as well
I could never get enough of Y-O-U

Can anyone say SHRINE!
